Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is better to be a member of a group than to be the leader of a group. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Being a member of a group is a quality, which is not possessed by everyone. You have to take into account other members' interests, adapt to the team rules and share your opinion. Not everyone wants and is able to be a leader, because it demands special qualities like persistance, ambitiousness, initiativeness.  And I am sure, that such people are more intelligent than the other group members. For example, we sometimes prepare thesis at school. We form groups of students and select a leader who is responsible for the whole research work. When I am selected, I hate this role, because I should divide the tasks, make sure the work is done. And at last,  I should watch that everybody presents his/her part perfectly. But if I am a member of the group, I just do my part and don't worry about the others. So, for me it's easier to be a member.    

Topic sentence: Reasons for entering AUCA

Nowadays, it is not difficult to get higher education in Kyrgyzstan. The question is just the money. What do we get for the money we pay: the specialty, competitiveness, knowledge of foreign languages?  All of these and more I can get in AUCA.  In my opinion, it is the next level of getting of higher education. New specialties, modern teaching techniques, professional teaching staff open us the ways to the International educational system, which means that a student from AUCA can enter some foreign institute and has no difficulties to study there. I am going to enter Anthropology faculty. As long as it is a new field for us, it will be interesting for me to do research work and to study international, intercultural and interethnic relations.

Dear Friend,

I was glad to get your letter. Sounds that you had a great time with your sister.

You are interested in number of my close relatives. Well, I have two brothers and one sister. Luckily, I’m the eldest child and have full powers. But they, like three little monkeys, sometimes really bother me. I need some more space. And you know, at the moment we are on the holidays. That’s a real trial to me spend twenty four hours with them. So, I truly wish that on the next week they are going to school. And my suffering will end. Although, I usually feel tired of them, they noisy, annoying, but I can’t imagine my life without them. At the same time they are cheerful, funny, smart and always ready to help. That’s why I wouldn’t like to be an only child in the family, because they are my family.

Oh, what did you feel while reading this book? Which characters would you prefer to be and why? Did you really enjoy reading “Harry Potter”?
