Nowadays, people get information from several sources. There are newspapers, current affairs, or news websites.

As for me, I prefer newspapers to other sources of information. First of all, it is convenient. If you don’t understand something, you can return anytime to the beginning. And sentences are made very compactly and clearly, but the text is sometimes big. All events of the week or month are obviously mentioned in one newspaper. For example, the meeting of two presidents was finished very successful: they have signed an agreement. Secondly, the newspapers are more informative. It contains of several sections: daily news, something about the politics, the economics, the arrangement of the films in cinemas, weather forecasts, bulletin board. So, you can choose everything you want. I am sure, that articles are based on real facts and real stories. Thirdly, it is like a shield or protection. If you don’t feel like communicating with people, you can just hide from them, closing your face.

So, I think newspaper are useful. Unfortunately, reading them is considered to be old-fashioned. But it is your choice use or don’t use them.
